The Aterno is also available in sizes from 1100mm diameter up to a mighty 2000mm diameter. All Aterno spheres over 1700mm diameter are produced from 2mm thick stainless steel, therefore the 2000mm sphere weighs a mighty 200kg. We have also designed a special base plate and fixing method which is available in our larger spheres. It allows the sphere to be securely bolted to the pebble pool base.
